The 2025–26 season is Liverpool Football Club's 134th season in their history and their 64th consecutive season in the top flight of English football. In addition to the domestic league, the club is also participating in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the FA Community Shield.

This is the first season since 2015–16 without Trent Alexander-Arnold who joined Real Madrid on 1 June 2025, and the first since 2019–20 without Diogo Jota who died in a car accident on 3 July 2025.[1][2] On 11 July 2025, Jota's squad number 20 was retired across all levels to commemorate his death.[3]
