2025–26 Barnsley F.C. season

The 2025–26 season is the 139th season in the history of Barnsley Football Club and their fourth consecutive season in League One. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy.

On 4 June, Barnsley announced their pre-season schedule, with frienlies against Emley, Worksop Town, Alfreton Town, Harrogate Town and York City.^[27]
