Ármin Pécsi (Hungarian pronunciation: [aːɾmin peːʧi]; born 24 February 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Liverpool.[1][2] Born in Austria, he is a youth international for Hungary.
Club career
Pécsi began training with the first-team of Puskás Akadémia when he was 16 years old, and featured for the club in a friendly match against Club Brugge at that age.[3] He became a regular starter during the 2024–25 season, and made 36 appearances in all competitions, in which he kept 11 clean sheets.[4] With the club, he finished second that season in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I.[5] At the end of the season, he was one of three goalkeepers nominated for the Golden Boy award.[6]
On 7 June 2025, it was confirmed that he had signed for Premier League club Liverpool.[7]
International career
Born in Austria, Pécsi has represented Hungary at youth level.[8]
