Ismael Alves Gaetan Maiga (born 23 November 2003) is a Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serbian SuperLiga club Čukarički.[2]
Club career
Maiga started his playing career in Burkina Faso club AS Cascades, before moving to Serbia on tryal at Radnički Niš and after the pasing the successful tryal, On 13 January 2023, he sign in an three-year contract with the club.[3][4]
After one official game for Radnički Niš in the Serbian Cup,[5] he left the Niš's club and in 28 February 2024, he sign with Novi Sad 1921.[6][7]
He made his debut in the 21th round of the 2023–24 Serbian First League season, against OFK Beograd in In Novi Sad, as a starter in the starting lineup of coach Vidak Bratić,[8] After the relegation from the Serbian First League with Novi Sad 1921.[9] Maiga remained with the club for the following season, but in the transfer winter window in 2025, He sign with the (in that period) newly promoted club in the Serbian SuperLiga, Tekstilac Odžaci.[10]
On 19 June 2025, year before the end of his previous deal with Tekstilac Odžaci, he sign an three-year contract with Čukarički.[11]
On 27 July 2025, Maiga made his official debut for the new team in a away win over to IMT in the 2th round of the new season of the Serbian SuperLiga, he came from the bench as a subitete for Marko Docić in the 85th minute of the game.[12]
