Filip Matijašević (Serbian Cyrillic: Филип Матијашевић; born 4 March 2008) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a attacking midfielder for Serbian SuperLiga club Čukarički.[2]
Club career
He was born in Belgrade, Serbia, Matijašević began his football career at the academy of the Čukarički. Filip is son of Serbian player and sporting director Vladimir Matijašević.[3]
Matijašević signed his first professional contract with his parent club in 9 March 2023 who gonna be active till 2026.[4]
As a one of the best players of the Čukarički youth team. After the good games in the Youth League of Serbia,[5] On 8 January 2025 he was called for the first time in the first team for the winter preparations in Turkey, In Antalya, he showed that he have a exceptional talent, so he continued to training with the first team.[6][7]
On 19 January 2025, Matijašević made his debut for the first team in a friendly match at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya against Botev Plovdiv.[8][9]
On 1 February 2025, In the 21th rounds of the start of the second part of Serbian SuperLiga he made his official debut as 4th youngest debutant for Čukarički's main squad in a home game in 2024–25 season match, against Mladost Lučani. He came on the field replacing Lazar Tufegdžić in the 82th minute.[10][11]
International career
Matijašević played for the Serbian national teams at U15, U16 and U17 levels.[12][3]
