The 2025 Dearborn Heights mayoral election will take place on November 4, 2025, following a primary on August 5, 2025. Incumbent Mayor Bill Bazzi was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia,[1] and is not seeking re-election. In the primary election, City Council President Mo Baydoun placed first, winning 58 percent of the vote. He advanced to the general election with City Councilwoman Denise Malinowski-Maxwell, who placed second with 27 percent of the vote.[2]
