The Strangers – Chapter 2 is an upcoming American horror film serving as the fourth film in The Strangers film series, and the second installment of a new trilogy following Chapter 1. The film was directed by Renny Harlin, and stars Madelaine Petsch with Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath.
The film is set to have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in September 2025, and scheduled to be released in the United States by Lionsgate Films on September 26, 2025.

Production
Principal photography on all three films commenced over 52 days in September 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia,[5] and wrapped in November 2022.[6][7]
According to Harlin, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 went in a different direction than the first film, while covering Petsch's character over a span of four days after her encounter.[7]
Release
The Strangers – Chapter 2 is set to have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in September 2025,[8][9] and is scheduled to be released in the United States by Lionsgate Films on September 26, 2025.[4]
Sequel
The final installment of the trilogy titled The Strangers: Chapter 3, will be released on an unspecified date.[10]
