The 2025–26 Myanmar National League will be the 16th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for footballclubs, since its establishment in 2009. Shan United are the defending champions.[1]

Shan United are the defending champions, having won their six Myanmar National League title in the previous season. The season reintroduces promoted Yarmanya United.

M21 become a MNL official kit sponsor and Dong Luc as a official match ball supplier.

Changes from the previous season

Promotion and relegation (pre-season)

12 teams will compete in the league – the eleven teams from previous season and one team promoted from MNL-2.

Teams promoted from MNL-2

Chinland and University became the two teams to be promoted on 28 November 2024 after winning their respective matches. Chinland were also crowned champions by defeating Shwepyi Thar United 3-0 in an away match, while University beat Yarmanya Unitedd 1-0.

Teams relegated to MNL-2

Myawady became the first team to be relegated on 15 February 2025 after suffering a 4-1 defeat to Mahar United. The result ended their time in the top division for 3 seasons.[2]
