Yarmanya United Football Club (Burmese: ရာမည ယူနိုက်တက် ဘောလုံး အသင်း) is a Burmese professional football club based in Mawlamyine, founded in 2024.

History

Yarmanya United is a rising football club from Myanmar that gained national attention in recent years through its rapid ascent in the country’s football league system. Although the club’s early foundation details are not widely publicized, Yarmanya United emerged prominently during the 2024 MNL-2 season, Myanmar’s second-tier professional league. First time ever match of Yarmanya United in MNL is against Kachin United F.C. drawn 1-1 [1]. In that campaign, they finished as second runner-up, showcasing strong performances including dominant wins over teams like Silver Stars and Ayeyawady Rangers. Despite finishing third, the club was promoted to the 2025 Myanmar National League (MNL-1) due to licensing and eligibility criteria, making their top-flight debut just a year after their rise. In the 2025 MNL League Cup, Yarmanya experienced mixed results—suffering heavy defeats to clubs like Yadanarbon and Myawady, but also recording an impressive 8–4 victory over Silver Stars, reflecting their aggressive, attacking style. In addition to the senior team, Yarmanya United U21 actively participates in the Myanmar U21 Championship, earning several wins and showing promise in youth development. Their story is one of ambition and swift progress, with the club now aiming to establish itself in Myanmar’s premier football division while continuing to invest in grassroots talent and club growth.

University (Myanmar University) finished as runner-up in the 2024 MNL-2 but did not meet the professional licensing criteria, so they were not promoted to the 2025-26 Myanmar National League (MNL‑1). Instead, Yarmanya United was promoted in their place [2] .
