Rebecca Šramková defeated Laura Siegemund in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Thailand Open 2. It was her first WTA Tour singles title.[1]
The second round match between Siegemund and Wang Xiyu lasted 4 hours and 9 minutes, making it the first match to break the four-hour mark since the 2011 Australian Open fourth round match between Francesca Schiavone and Svetlana Kuznetsova,[2] and the fifth-longest on the WTA Tour in the Open Era.[3][4]
Diana Shnaider was the reigning champion,[5] but chose to compete in Seoul instead.
