Zurab Kintsurashvili (Georgian: ზურაბ კინწურაშვილი, born 19 February 2002) is a Georgian taekwondo practitioner who competes in the 74 kg weight class. He won the gold medal at the 2023 European Games and the silver medal at the 2024 European Taekwondo Championships.
Career
In June 2023, Kintsurashvili won the gold medal in the men's 74 kg event at the 2023 European Games in Kraków-Małopolska, defeating Nedžad Husić of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final.[1]
In May 2024, he won the silver medal in the men's 74 kg event at the 2024 European Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade, losing in the final to Daniel Quesada of Spain.[2]
In 2025, Kintsurashvili represented Georgia at the 2025 Summer World University Games in Rhine–Ruhr, Germany, where he won the gold medal in the men's 74 kg event. He defeated Vinicius Assis Matos (Brazil) in the final, while Chiu Yi-Jui (Chinese Taipei) and Najmiddin Kosimkhojiev (Uzbekistan) took gold.[3]
