Yisa Alao is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.[1]
Club career
Sheffield Wednesday
He signed his scholarship with Sheffield Wednesday in May 2025 having already played for the U18s side the previous season during his U16 season.[2][3] On 13 August 2025, he made his professional debut at just 16 years of age, coming off the bench to replace Olaf Kobacki in the EFL Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers, where a young Wednesday side would draw the game 3–3 before going on to win at penalties.[4]
