Xenolumpenus is a monotypic genus of marine ray-finned fishes belonging to the family Lumpenidae, the eel pricklebacks, the pricklebacks and shannies. Its only species is Xenolumpenus longipterus which is found in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.[1]
