Wojciechy (Polish: [vɔjˈt͡ɕɛxɨ]; German: Albrechtsdorf)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 12 km (7 mi) west of Bartoszyce and 84 km (52 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn.
The suffix -dorf of the historic village name is typical for settlements founded by Germans during Medieval Ostsiedlung.[3]
From 1959 to 1961 it was administratively located in the Górowo County in the Olsztyn Voivodeship.[4]
