History

Old Chapel in Winnothdale

Winnothdale was established in 1928, around "Winnothdale Farm" which is a family-run turkey farm.[2]

The hamlet has retained its rural identity with no real developments occurring around the area.[3]

The hamlet is mostly made up of houses, farms and an old chapel (now a private residence and holiday let).[4]

Transport

Winnothdale is served by a bus service that acts as a circular route for the town of Uttoxeter. It runs from the town to the villages and hamlets such as Leigh, Tean, Freehay and Denstone before returning to Uttoxeter. It serves the hamlet at Temple Row.[5]
