William James Davies (born 7 June 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Fleetwood Town.[2]
Career
Born in Ipswich,[1] Davies began his early career with Coplestonians, joining Leiston and playing for their reserves before joining the first team in the 2019–20 season.[3][4] He moved to Braintree Town in July 2023,[5] before signing for York City in November 2023 for an undisclosed transfer fee,[6][7] moving on loan to Bromley in March 2024.[8] After leaving York by mutual consent at the end of the 2023–24 season,[9] he signed for Sutton United in June 2024.[10]
Davies signed for Fleetwood Town in June 2025,[11] for a transfer fee reported to be one of the largest ever received by Sutton.[12] Davies scored 3 goals in his fist 2 games for the club.[13]
