The club are affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association and comprises two adult teams playing in the Isle of Wight League.
History
The club were formed in 1983 with the amalgamation of local rivals Whitecroft and Barton Sports, both of whom were long standing members of the Isle of Wight League.[1]
An early success came in 1986 when they won the Division 1 title. The club remained in the top-flight for many years until relegation in 2010.[2]
Since returning as Division 2 champions in 2014, Whitecroft & Barton proceeded to win the Division 1 title five years running.[3] The 2016–17 season was a memorable one as they completed the treble after also winning the Isle of Wight Challenge Cup and Hampshire Intermediate Cup, after surprisingly defeating higher division Locks Heath 3-0 in the final.
