Vonne Lester (born July 16, 1928) is an American actress who appeared in several movies throughout the 1940s and 1950s.[2]

Biography

Lester was an usherette at the Pantages Theatre when an agent saw her at a pharmacy and helped her get a contract with RKO Pictures.[3] She was subsequently profiled in Life as one of the Goldwyn Girls.[4] It was after appearing in There's Always Tomorrow (1956) that she took a hiatus from acting and worked as a secretary at the William Morris Agency.[5]

She was first wed to Carl R. Botefuhr.[6] The couple divorced and she married Lawrence Gross with whom she had two daughters.
