Vojtěch Kubista (born 19 March 1993) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or a centre back for Polish club Sandecja Nowy Sącz.
Club career
Kubista made his Czech First League debut for Jablonec on 12 May 2013 in a match against Vysočina Jihlava.
Spartak Trnava
On 17 April 2024, Kubista joined Slovak club FC Spartak Trnava.[1][2] He made his league debut for Spartak in a 0–0 draw against Žilina on 18 August 2024, starting the game.[3]
KFC Komárno
Unhappy due to lack of game time, Kubista joined KFC Komárno on a six-month loan in February 2025.[4] On 11 May 2025, he scored two goals for Komárno in a 5–4 win over Zemplín Michalovce.[5]
Sandecja Nowy Sącz
On 31 July 2025, it was announced that Kubista would be leaving Spartak following the termination of his contract.[6] A day later, he joined Polish third tier club Sandecja Nowy Sącz.[7]
Personal life
His brother Jan Kubista is a middle-distance runner, as was his father, also named Jan Kubista.
