History
Before being a separate church, Tuital Church was a part of a church in Hasnabad.
The Church formally established with the founding of Tuital Dharmapalli on 15 May 1894. To accommodate the growing number of worshipers, a new church building - Tuital Church of the Holy Spirit - was constructed adjacent to the original structure in 1924. The church has since remained an active center of religious and community activities.[2]
In media
The 1993 film Ekattorer Jishu (Jesus of the Seventy-One), based on Shahriar Kabir's novel of the same name, was filmed near the Church and along the banks of the Ichamati River.
