The Provocateur is the debut extended play (EP) by Slovak singer-songwriter Adéla. It is scheduled to release by Capitol Records and Polydor Records[1] on August 22, 2025.
Background and release
After competing and being eliminated in the 2023 Hybe Corporation and Geffen Records reality competition series Dream Academy alongside 19 other girls[2] and appearing in the Netflix Documentary Pop Star Academy: Katseye,[3] Adéla began a career as a solo artist. On September 13, 2024, she released her debut single "Homewrecked," On October 25, 2024, she released her second single, "Superscar." Ones to Watch describes the song as "deliciously catchy" with an "intoxicating pop beat."[4] On February 28, 2025, Adéla released "Machine Girl," a Grimes produced pop track. On July 11, 2025, she released "DeathByDevotion" and announced the release date for the EP. On August 13, 2025, she announced she was pushing the release date from August 15 to August 22 to add an additional track to the EP.[5]
