Plot

In a medieval world The Lord Protector must save the Earth from destruction and solve The Riddle of the Chosen. The Lord Protector travels to the heart of a magical evil and sets the stage for the ultimate showdown between good and evil.

Among those drawn into his perilous journey are unlikely companions: Matty Mal, a brilliant scientist with gorgeous hair, mysteriously transported from another age. Armed with knowledge far beyond the medieval world, he seeks to unravel the secrets of alchemy and weaponry that might turn the tide. Tricia Petmeplease, a humble schoolteacher who only wanted to survive the chaos, finds herself thrust into the role of reluctant heroine, her courage tested as the darkness closes in. And then there’s Mugsy, a cynical mechanical engineer who insists he wants nothing more than to escape—but whose inventions may prove vital in outwitting the monstrous forces that guard the Riddle.

Together, this ragtag fellowship faces sorcery, treachery, and the creeping corruption of power. But as the final battle looms, each must decide: are they fighting for riches, survival, or the salvation of the world itself?
