The company has three main product lines: the basic collection The Original 1, the high-end collection Cookies, and the collaborative collection Sparkles. History
The brand was founded in Shanghai by artist Jackson Wang and Henry Cheung in 2019, with Cheung serving as CEO and Wang as creative director.[3]
In 2021, when Claude Monet's paintings were first exhibited in Shanghai, the brand launched a Monet-themed limited collection in collaboration with the Bund One Art Museum, and set up an exhibition space at the museum.[4]
The brand launched its "Cookies – The Velvet" collection in 2022.[5]
Collaborations
As the founder, creative director, and main brand ambassador, Jackson Wang frequently wears the brand's clothing for concerts, fashion events, and social media appearances, which has helped raise the brand's profile. Team Wang Design has collaborated with luxury fashion brands such as Fendi,[6] Palm Angels, Fila Fusion, and designer Pharrell Williams.[7]
