Tarkio Township, Page County, Iowa

Tarkio Township is a township in Page County, Iowa, United States.[1]

History

Tarkio Township was established in 1858.[2] A small hamlet named Tarkio City once existed in the southern portion of the township near the mouth of the East Tarkio River. [3]
