The guide also clarifies tournament rulings—such as limitations on the card "Ancient Kalidnay"—which override misleading card text in favor of fairer gameplay.[1]

Reception

Chris Baylis reviewed Spellfire Reference Guide: Volume 2 for Arcane magazine, rating it a 7 out of 10 overall, and stated that "Despite being a must for any serious player this is not without problems. Expect volume three to turn up soon..."[1]
