soundcore is a sub-brand of Anker Innovations, specializing in audio products and headquartered in Shenzhen, China.[1] The brand was established on April 25, 2018. The brand’s product portfolio includes Bluetooth earbuds, open-ear earbuds, over-ear headphones, speakers, and smartglasses.[2][3][4]

History

In 2014, Anker Innovations began selling Bluetooth speakers and headphones on Amazon. Anker began to develop and prepare for headphone product lineups in 2016. In 2017, Anker launched a Kickstarter campaign for its new line of wireless earbuds. In 2018, the brand debuted independently under the name "soundcore" in New York and Tokyo, earning multiple technology awards soon after. soundcore closes debut fund at $350 Million in 2018.[5] In 2019, soundcore established the brand's first online community, the Soundcore Collective. In 2021，soundcore’s Launch event for the Liberty Air 2 Pro[6][7] also introduced two-year partnership with MusiCares to keep providing essential support to musicians who have been hit hardest during the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, soundcore launched the Liberty 3 Pro. In Oct 2021，soundcore announced the Soundcore Frames. By 2025, the brand had expanded in markets such as Japan, Germany, and the UK. Its most recent product, soundcore Sleep A30, has raised over $2.3 million on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

Products

soundcore products include true wireless earbuds, over-ear noise-cancelling headphones, open-ear earbuds, sleep earbuds, and Bluetooth speakers.[8] True wireless earbuds include the Liberty, Life, and P series,[9] featuring adaptive noise cancellation and core Astria Coaxial Acoustic Architecture (ACAA).[10] The headphones lineup comprises the Space and Life Q series.[11][12] Sleep earbuds like Sleep A20 and A30.[13][14][15][16][17] The Bluetooth speakers are in the Flare, Rave, and Boom series.
