Early life

Saba Faisal was born in Lahore, and completed her studies at the University of Lahore.[4]

Career

In 1981, Faisal and some of her friends visited PTV Lahore Centre, and there, a director noticed her and convinced her to audition for newscasting, which she did but was selected as an announcer which she did for three years later. She was selected for Khabarnama at 9p.m., the main news bulletin of the day at PTV. Saba also hosted some programs, and then worked as a sports commentator. Later, she acted in some PTV dramas in the mid-1990s. She simultaneously continued working as a newscaster until the early 2000s, then she exclusively focused on her acting career and has worked in more than 100 dramas.[4]
