Rychwał [ˈrɨxfau̯] is a town in central Poland,[2] with 2,364 inhabitants (2010)[1] in Konin County, Greater Poland Voivodship.

History

The town was founded either in the late 14th or the early 15th century.[3] It was a private town of the Złotkowski and Dobrzycki noble families,[3] administratively located in the Konin County in the Kalisz Voivodeship in the Greater Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.[4] 102 Jews lived in the town as of 1765.[3] Six annual fairs were held in the town in the late 19th century.[3]
