Ruzanna Mammadova (born 22 June 2006) is an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler competing in the 62 kg weight category. She won the gold medal at the 2022 U17 World Championships and the 2024 European U20 Championships.

Career

Ruzanna Mammadova was born on 22 June 2006 in Masalli District, Azerbaijan, and began wrestling at a young age.[1]

In 2022, Mammadova competed in the 49 kg category at the 2022 World U17 Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy. She won the gold medal by defeating Mihoko Takeuchi of Japan 5–3 in the final.[2]

In 2024, she represented Azerbaijan at the 2024 European U20 Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. Wrestling in the 59 kg division, she captured the gold medal after a 14–10 victory over Russia's Yelena Kurova in the final.[3]

She is a member of the Neftçi Sports Club in Azerbaijan and competes in both age-group and senior-level tournaments.
