Runaway Bay is a 1966 American television play that aired as an episode of Bob Hope Presents the Chrysler Theatre.[1]
It was the first writing credit for Tom Mankiewicz. An original screenplay of his had been optioned by Universal and was admired by produced Ron Roth. This led to Roth hiring Mankiewicz to rewrite the script.[2]
Premise
Disillusioned with life in the city, a young woman called Miranda, returns to her small home town.
