Ruja [ˈruja] is a village in Legnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Ruja. It lies approximately 18 km (11 mi) east of Legnica, and 45 km (28 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
