Investing career

Controversies

FTC Actions and Lifetime Ban

In June 2025, the Federal Trade Commission issued a permanent lifetime ban against Robert Shemin for his involvement in *Ganadores Ecommerce*, a fraudulent "get-rich" scheme that falsely promised easy profits through real estate and online sales. The FTC concluded that Shemin misled consumers, charged thousands of dollars for worthless coaching programs, and used his public reputation to legitimize the scam.[4]

Prior Federal Case (2019–2021)

Shemin was also named as a key defendant in a federal fraud case filed in Utah District Court (Case No. 2:19-cv-00713), United States v. Zurixx, LLC.[5]
