Over her four-year collegiate career at Boston University, Leslie amassed 171 points in 139 games and served as team captain in her senior season.[1] In 2018, she began her professional career by signing with the Calgary Inferno of the CWHL,[2] where she won the Clarkson Cup and was a finalist for Rookie of the Year.[3] Following the league's closure, she announced her decision to join the newly established PWHPA.

Leslie was selected in the 12th round of the 2023 PWHL Draft by PWHL Toronto[4] and went on to sign a one-year deal with the team in November of that year.[5] During her time with Toronto, she tallied two goals and seven assists over 24 games. On June 24, 2024, she signed a one-year contract with PWHL Ottawa.[6] In the 2024–25 season, she contributed one goal and two assists across 27 games. In the 2025 PWHL playoffs, she added two goals and an assist in eight games.[7] On June 18, 2025, she secured a two-year contract extension with the Charge.[8]

In 2014, Leslie tallied five points across five games while representing Canada's U18 team,[9] helping them capture gold at the IIHF Women’s World Junior Championship. She made her debut with the senior national team in 2019 during the Rivalry Series.[10]
