Ram Krishna Mitra
Ram Krishna Mitra is a former civil servant who served as Joint Secretary to the Government of India in Ministry of Home Affairs.[1] He also served as Professor of Practice at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.
Early life and education
Mitra earned Doctor of Philosophy from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2004 and also has a Master of Business Administration from Department of Management Studies at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2000.
Career
Civil Service

Mitra joined the Central Secretariat Service in 1984 after qualifying through the Civil Services Examination. He served as Joint Secretary to the Government of India (Police ll) in Ministry of Home Affairs. After he retired, he was appointed as Advisor[2] in Ministry of Home Affairs.[3][4]
Personal life
Mitra is married to Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhury, who currently serves as Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
