The ROH Women's Pure Championship is an upcoming women's professional wrestling championship created and promoted by Ring of Honor (ROH). The title is similar to the ROH Pure Championship in the company's men's division but a female version.[1]
History
On April 12, 2025, after an episode taping of AEW Collision. Tony Khan introduced the ROH Women's Pure Championship to the Ring of Honor (ROH) women's division. The inaugural champion will be crowned via a sixteen-woman single-elimination tournament. (It was originally announced that the inaugural title match would happen at Supercard of Honor but it was some how cancelled for the event due to timing issues.)[1] On the April 24 episode of ROH on HonorClub, it was announced that Queen Aminata and Serena Deeb will face off in the first round of the tournament on The Sit Down with Lexy Nair.[2][3][4] Other names later confirmed were Deonna Purrazzo, Taya Valkyrie, and Leila Grey.[5] On May 23, 2025 it was announced that Billie Starkz will also be entering the tournament.[6]
