The Quanzhou–Xiamen–Zhangzhou Intercity Railway Line is a intercity railway line being developed linking the cities of Quanzhou, Xiamen and Zhangzhou together, that will run in a North-South Direction.
Survey works have officially entered the substantive stage, and on-site surveys have been simultaneously started at 2 stations, 3 sections and 1 entry and exit line within Nan'an City.
The entire line will be officially started before the end of 2025. After it is completed and opened to traffic in 2031, the commuting time from Nan'an Shuitou to Xiamen Island will be shortened to 30 minutes, and it will only take 1 hour from Shijing Town to the main urban area of Zhangzhou, truly drawing a three-dimensional transportation blueprint for the "Xiamen-Zhangzhou-Quanzhou 1-hour living circle".[1][2]
