Pushkar Shivkumar Sharma, also known as Puoshkar Sharma,[1] is a Kenyan cricketer[2] who has played for the Kenya national cricket team.[3]
Sharma, who was born in India, captained the Mumbai Under-16 cricket team.[4][5] In 2019, he moved to Kenya and joined Ruaraka Sports Club. He played in the Nairobi Province Cricket Association league, where he became the top scorer with 841 runs in 14 innings. He was selected for the Kenya national cricket team in 2022,[6][7] making his international debut opening the batting for Kenya in the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers.[8]
Family
Sharma married Sita Sharma on 7 December 2023.[9] The couple had their first child in 2024.[10] He lives in Nairobi and works as a marketing manager for Hirani Telecommunication Ltd.
