Pelecium zaguryi is a species of beetle of the family Carabidae. This species is found in Brazil (Mato Grosso).
Description
Adults reach a length of about 10 mm. They have an elongate, flat body. The head, pronotum and elytra are dark reddish brown.
Etymology
The species is named in honour of Brazilian coleopterist Fernando Zagury Vaz de Mello, who lent the authors Carabidae beetles important for the work in which this species was described, as well as other taxonomic and morphological studies in progress.[1]
