Paradha is an upcoming Indian bilingual social drama film releasing in Telugu and Malayalam languages, directed by Praveen Kandregula[2][3] and written by Poojitha Sreekanti, Prahaas Boppudi, and Praveen Kandregula. The film stars Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran and Sangeetha Krish. Mridul Sujit Sen handles the cinematography and Dharmendra Kakarala edits the film. Gopi Sundar composes the songs and background score.[4][5][6] It is produced by Sreenivasulu P. V., Vijay Donkada and Sridhar Makkuva under the banner Ananda Media.[7][8][9] The film is scheduled to release on 22 August 2025.
Plot
In a remote village bound by the belief that women must remain veiled to ward off a curse, Subbu’s devotion to their tradition is questioned after an enigmatic event. Having hardly ever stepped outside her village but determined to clear her name, Subbu sets out on a daring journey to the Himalayas, accompanied by her aunt Rathnamma and Ami, a fierce architect fighting her own battles in the modern world.

The soundtrack album of the film is composed by Gopi Sundar. Sony Music India procured the audio rights of the soundtrack. The first single Maa Andhaala Siri/Aa Naru Chiriyude was released on 23 March 2025.[10] The second single Yatra Naryasthu was released on 17 July 2025[11] and the third single Yegareyi Nee Rekkale/Akale Ee Neermutthukal released on 5 August 2023.[12] Both the Telugu and Malayalam versions were released on the same dates.
