Nurzat Nurtaeva (Нурзат Нуртаева, born 9 January 2002) is a Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler competing in the 68–72 kg weight categories. She is a silver medalist at the 2022 Asian Games and a two-time U23 Asian champion.
Career
Nurtaeva represented Kyrgyzstan at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China, where she won the silver medal in the women's 68 kg freestyle event.[1] She reached the final, where she was defeated by Zhou Feng of China.
She placed 13th at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships.[2]
At the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Bishkek, she finished in fifth place.[3]
Nurtaeva also had strong performances at the U23 Asian Wrestling Championships, where she became a two-time champion by winning gold in 2024 (68 kg) and 2025 (72 kg). She previously won silver in 2022 and bronze in 2023.[4]
