Niedźwiedź [ˈɲɛd͡ʑvjɛt͡ɕ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ostrzeszów, within Ostrzeszów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1]
The suffix -dorf of the German place name Bärwalde is typical for settlements founded by Germans during Medieval Ostsiedlung.[2]
The village has an approximate population of 500.
