Newton is a hamlet[1] in the Borough of East Staffordshire in the county of Staffordshire, England.[2] It forms part of the parish of Bilthfield. It is located to the northwest of Blithfield Reservoir.
History
The hamlet of Newton is believed to be intertwined with the original village of Blithfield, which was later documented as a "deserted medieval village".[3][4] The hamlet of Newton has remained of mostly housing and farms.[5]
Amenities
Newton is home to the "Four Counties Golf/SeeMore Putters" club. This is located on Newton Lane.[6] Also nearby is Blithfield Reservoir, Blithfield Hall, St Leonard's Church and Blithe Brook.
