Miss USA 2025 will be the 74th Miss USA pageant.

Alma Cooper of Michigan will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will represent the United States at Miss Universe 2025 on November 21, 2025 in Thailand.[1]

Background

Selection of contestants

Like in the previous year, the rules that women would allow over 28 years old are able to participate.

Selection of delegates at state pageants began on January 2025 and scheduled to conclude on September 2025. The first state pageant was Connecticut, held on January 26, 2025, and the last state pageants will be Alabama and Louisiana, to be held jointly on September 21, 2025. Some states will be appointed to the position after being runner-up in their state pageant, or being chosen through a casting process.[a]
