Mihajlo Petković (Serbian Cyrillic: Михајло Петковић; born 27 May 2004) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Novi Pazar on loan from Partizan.[2]

Club career

Petković started training football in Sloga Ćićevac, and then moved to the newly founded OFK Morava. During the summer of 2016, he joined the younger categories of Partizan.[3][4] He signed his first professional contract with the club as a fifteen-year-old.[5][6] He was invited to winter training with the first team, at the beginning of 2021, under the leadership of coach Aleksandar Stanojević.[7][8] In the following period, he continued to perform for the youth team.[9] He debuted in professional competition at the opening of the 2022–23 season. In the Serbian Superliga, scoring a goal against Javor Ivanjica in Ivanjica.[10][11][12] A few days later, he extended his contract with the club until 2026.[13] Until the end of August 2022, he performed as a standard bonus footballer, but in the later part of the season he did not play for the first team.[14] He finished the winter preparations of the following year earlier than the other players, due to the injury he suffered.[15] At the end of the season, he won the title in the Youth League of Serbia.[16] In the last round of the Serbian SuperLiga, he appeared in the last 20 minutes of the match against Voždovac.[17]

In mid-January 2024, Petković was sent to Novi Pazar on loan until the end of the 2023–24 season, In the Serbian SuperLiga.[18] After that, he terminated his contract with Partizan and left the club under defined conditions.[19][20] He soon joined Napredak Kruševac from Kruševac, with whom he agreed a two-year cooperation.[21]

After his contract was ended he left Napredak Kruševac, And on 12 June 2025, he back to Partizan where he sign a two year contract with them, but he don't lest to much because he was sent on loan to a well unnow location for him and that was Novi Pazar club and he gonna stay there's till the 31 December 2025.[22][23]

International career

During April 2019, Petković played for the Serbia U15 national team the "Vlatko Marković" Tournament held in Medulin.[24] He made his debut for the Serbia U16 national team at the opening of the Put zvezda tournament in Moscow, against the Russia U16 national team, scoring a goal from the penalty spot.[25] He also appeared in the double match that the Serbia U17 national team played with Bulgaria U17 and was the scorer in the first of those meetings.[26] At the age of 18, he played four matches, two each with Slovenia U18 and Italy U18, scoring one goal.[1] Petković made his debut for the Serbia U19 national team at the opening of the "Stevan Vilotić Ćele" Memorial Tournament in 2022.[27] He also played in the qualifiers for the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, which Serbia ended without qualifying for the final tournament. Petković was the scorer of the first goal against the Polish national team, but was sent off at the end of the first half due to a second yellow card.[28]
