Medina Hospital (MH) is a dedicated medical facility in Mogadishu that provides critical emergency and trauma care.
The hospital is renowned for its lifesaving services in trauma and emergency maternal medicine, treating several hundred war-wounded patients and expectant mothers every month.
Emergency cases include, among others, traffic accidents, falls from heights, explosions, weapon-related injuries, sharp-object wounds, and interpersonal violence.
In addition to its emergency services, MH offers a comprehensive Multi-Speciality Outpatient Department (OPD), where patients can access specialized consultations across various fields of medicine. The hospital also operates a modern laboratory, equipped with advanced diagnostic technology to support accurate and timely medical investigations.
Furthermore, MH provides medicolegal services, playing a crucial role in documenting and reporting injury-related cases for legal and investigative purposes.
Through its combination of emergency care, specialized outpatient services, cutting-edge diagnostics, and medicolegal support, Medina Hospital stands as a central pillar of healthcare delivery in Mogadishu.
