Masood Kamal (Bengali: মাসুদ কামাল; born in Mymensingh, Bangladesh) is a Bangladeshi journalist, political commentator and analyst. He is currently the Head of News at Bangla Tribune and formerly served as Senior News Editor at Banglavision. He is known for his articulate, evidence-based political commentary[2] and for maintaining editorial independence.

Early life and education

Career

Kamal began his journalism career in television media, working at Banglavision where he served as Senior News Editor.[3] He was responsible for overseeing news content, editorial quality, and coverage planning.

He later joined Bangla Tribune [4] as its Head of News, leading editorial strategy and political coverage for the digital news outlet.[5]

In addition, he is the creator, producer, and host of a YouTube program titled KOTHA, where he regularly presents in-depth political analysis and commentary.
