Makarud (Persian: مكارود, also Romanized as Makārūd and Makarood; also known as Makāru)[1] is a village in Kelardasht-e Gharbi Rural District of Kelardasht County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 930, in 313 families.[2] Up from 922 in 2006.[3]
