Mahdiyeh Afshar Bakeshloo (Persian: مهدیه افشار بکشلو; born 1995) is an Iranian conceptual and fine art photographer known for her emotive, symbolic, and surreal black-and-white images. Her work explores human emotions, psychological states, and the interplay between the human body and everyday objects.
Early life and education
Bakeshloo was born in 1995, in Tehran, Iran. She developed an interest in art at a young age, which led her to pursue formal photography training in 2014.[1][2][3]
Work
Bakeshloo has exhibited internationally, including in Iran,[4] Germany, Greece,[5] India,[6] and Italy[7] and her photographs have been featured in The Times,[8] and the British Journal of Photography.[9][10]
