The first season of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment premiered on Colors TV on 1 June 2024 and concluded on 4 October 2024.

Season chronology

Format

It features participants cooking dishes with particular criteria assigned by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi who judges the dishes alongside Bharti Singh.[3][4] The pair or pairs with the most accurate delicacy receive stars. At the end of each weekly episode, the pair who received the most stars become the “Laughter Chefs of the Week.” However, this concept was discontinued from Week 8.

Reception

Initially planned as a filler series, the show received positive reviews for its unique mix of comedy and cooking, and was later extended. Koimoi described the episodes as ‘a laughter riot,’ praising the celebrity chemistry and humorous kitchen mishaps.[15]
