Książnice [kɕɔ̃ʐˈnit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gdów, within Wieliczka County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Gdów, 19 km (12 mi) east of Wieliczka, and 30 km (19 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
